The kayak has a wheel on the end of it so it is easy to wheel over to the launch ramp. It only took about 30 mins to get to the uninhabited island (which was closed due to "covid"), but we were able to lay the kayak against the sandbar beach and lounge around for a while. The staff were super nice and friendly. The double kayak was large so we were very comfortable in it. The paddles were nice and light and easy to use. Easy launch site. There was plentiful street parking available both times we went to check it out, then pick up the rental on a different day. Just perfect experience. read less

At first I was a bit concerned with the choppiness of the water. But a great instructor, Julio, came out with me and I had a ball! We saw two dolphins 🐬 as well 😍 I can't wait to try it again.
