The kayak has a wheel on the end of it so it is easy to wheel over to the launch ramp. It only took about 30 mins to get to the uninhabited island (which was closed due to "covid"), but we were able to lay the kayak against the sandbar beach and lounge around for a while. The staff were super nice and friendly. The double kayak was large so we were very comfortable in it. The paddles were nice and light and easy to use. Easy launch site. There was plentiful street parking available both times we went to check it out, then pick up the rental on a different day. Just perfect experience. read less

The people who worked there were very friendly but the instructor told us that he wouldn't be out there on the water with us and to follow the path of the map that was on the wall. Overall we had a great experience/workout (although we did get lost lol. I couldn't remember the map once we got out there) But I would recommend This place to anyone who wants to get out in the water and have some "tiring" fun. I was a little nervous in starting , but soon I was calm, no stress, because was the first time. I loved this sport. I drop in water, was liked , was hot water, delicious this entertainement!!! My daughter practice in Brazil and liked much the group, many nationalities.
